FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need a doctor's referral for physiotherapy?
No referral is required in Alberta. You can book directly with us. However, some insurance plans may require a physician's referral for coverage, so check with your provider.
Do you direct bill to insurance companies?
Yes, we offer direct billing to most major insurance providers and WCB. Bring your insurance information to your first appointment and we'll handle the paperwork.
How long is a typical treatment session?
Initial assessments are 60 minutes, while follow-up treatment sessions are typically 30-45 minutes depending on your treatment plan and needs.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. Athletic wear is ideal. We have private treatment rooms for your comfort.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies based on your condition and goals. After your initial assessment, we'll discuss a recommended treatment plan. Many patients see significant improvement within 4-8 sessions.
Can you help with chronic conditions or just acute injuries?
We treat both acute injuries and chronic conditions. Our evidence-based approach is effective for long-standing pain, arthritis, and other persistent issues, not just recent injuries.
